Gert VGA 666 Raspberry Pi Adapter - Pre-Assembled
Nothing beastly going on here, the 666 refers to 6 bits per colour channel (rgb) giving 262144 colours, which is plenty for retro gaming. We are offering a pre-assembled version of the Open Source project designed by Gert van Loo, for those who would rather not solder up their own.
Attach this adapter to your Pi's GPIO header and with a few tweaks to the config.txt file you can use this board direct into your vga monitor and eliminate potentially laggy HDMI to VGA converters.
This adapter is suitable for the following Raspberry Pi's:
- Raspberry Pi B+
- Raspberry Pi 2 B
- Raspberry Pi 3 B
- Raspberry Pi 3 B+
